Nutty, oaky, dark and absolutely great for winter - this is an intense flavour. Greene King makes this ale by blended freshly brewed beer with a barrel-materured ale (at least two years in the maturing). Actually 6% when bought but the barrel-matured ale is originally made at 12%.
