Badgers Christmas ale. Medium ruby in colour malty smell with a smooth malty palate tending towards dryness in the aftertaste. A reasonable drink but easily bettered

Badgers Christmas seasonal ale. It is a medium ruby colour with a malty aroma, though if fairness this is not pronounced. It is smooth in the quaffing with a small degree of malt going on to a dry aftertaste. One would have expected, from the name, some additional spice but I detected none. Overall I find it a might disappointing. A good Christmas ale should brim over with a warm spicyness to warm the heart and soul on a cold evening
