Tasting Notes
Quite bland, though thirst cutting bitter.
Marston's Pedigree [baron rating: 3/5] - this 5% ale has a spicy smell and a slightly malty but crisp refreshing taste

I bought this as part of a Marston's four pack.
After loving Old Empire, I was distinctly unimpressed with this one. It was bland and watery to me. It even tasted quite weak considering its 5% strength.
Definitely avoid in bottles, I will have to try it on draft form as well before condemning it entirely.
A good standard pint. Not exceptional, but still enjoyable. Better than the usual pub standards of Tetleys or John Smiths by a long way.
